The Monroe County Commission is planning to hold several public meetings soon in various areas of the
county. The purpose of these meetings is to hear any concerns, insights, and ideas you may have for
your community. The County Commission realizes that some people may not be able to attend regular
Commission Meetings that are scheduled for daytime hours and that these evening meetings will allow
those an opportunity to meet with the Commission. All county elected officials will be invited as well as
the 911 Director and the County’s Planning and Building Commission.

The next meeting is scheduled for January 16th, 2023, at 6:30 pm in Lindside at the James Monroe High
School. Please help us spread the word!
